Hello everyone, hope you are all enjoying summer. Anyhow, wondering if any other communities allow exemptions for less than 100% total service connected disabled veterans or partially disabled veterans.

    Thanks!

The statute says “totally and permanently”, so that only applies to 100%.

Smithfield has a regular (not veteran) disability exemption that’s requires you to be deemed disabled according to Social Security.

only a 100% disabled vet or a vet. Jamestown does not offer an exemption for partial disability for vet.

Scituate does not have an exemption for partially disabled. Those veterans would receive the regular Veteran Exemption.

If they are not 100% disabled but are being paid from the VA at 100%, I will grant it to them.
